Where do I start? Terrible casting, boring plot, unexciting premise and a downright lazy effort by all involved. The movie based on a book, which I am not familiar with, so I don’t want to bash on the actual story line, but as a movie, it’s just boring. It is extremely unimportant and difficult to follow. Even the story doesn’t know where to go at some points. I am not sure how Pierce Brosnan got brought into this but he should be ashamed and should have known better. The former James Bond has stooped to a new low, whether he wants to admit it or not. Sarah Jessica Parker is her typical self, which is obviously more annoying than anything. She is too peppy for her own good, it gets to the point of frustration pretty often.
I wasn’t expecting much going in, but I had no idea the film was this bad. It is easily the most boring movie I have ever seen, but it ranks very close to “Did You Hear About The Morgans”, another Sarah Jessica Parker film that involves her and a British guy. She knows how to make em’ that’s for sure! Overall, I Don’t Know How She Does It is just a lazy effort of a film that should never have been made, and mothers across the world will probably hate it like the rest of us, for it’s insensitivity and stereotyping of a busy mother/wife with a lot on her plate, trying to balance career and family life. Avoid it at all costs, unless you want to be punished.
